Saturday, the 8th of October 2016, from 5 – 8pm, SomoS presents the second Korean Cooking Workshop with Mimi Kang. As before, it will be held at the spacious kitchen of SomoS Art House, and offers up to eight participants the opportunity to explore a Korean interpretation of Asian dishes using local fresh ingredients. From around 6.30pm the delicious full course meal will be shared.
The aim of the workshop is to teach the participants recipes that bring some authentic Korean tastes on the dinner table, and at the same time, are easy to prepare. The workshop focuses on recipes that involve ingredients which are available and easily accessible from local stores, thus that are feasible to cook for anyone who has no experiences with Korean cuisine. The Korean Kitchen – Cooking Workshop is an easy and fun way to get acquainted with the rich and palatable flavors of the diverse and colorful Korea. It’s held again by charming Mimi Kang.
Mimi will lead the participants through the preparation of a delicious Korean menu.

About Mimi Kang:
Mimi Kang is a mother of two who after moving from Korea to Europe found it difficult to find good Korean food around. Missing the flavors of home, she started to cook Korean dishes herself from ingredients available in local stores. The satisfying results of her family-style cooking practice are the affordable, authentic Korean dishes she presents at her workshops, popup dinners and catering.
Please note: Registration for the workshop is needed in advance due to the limited number of participants.
