The Allgemeinplaetze & Nahaufnahmen exhibition presents public and private views of Berlin and its inhabitants by artists who explore the city’s unique urbanity in their art, moving from objectivity to poetics. The exhibited works, ranging from sculpture and photography to film/video, contrast private cosmopolitan experience with the city’s public structure.
