Introducing SomoS Artist-in-Residence Stefanie Wolff
SomoS is pleased to introduce Argentinian photographer Stefanie Wolff who takes part in SomoS’ Artist-in-Residency program for the duration of three months from September to November.
Stefanie’s previous photographic essay, titled Heimat, grapples with both exploring and solidifying the dualities of her identity as a woman raised and immersed in Latin American culture with an acute awareness of her familial ties to Germany.
During her residency at SomoS, Stefanie will compose and curate another photographic essay which will utilize this intimate immersion in German culture as the basis upon which she aims to achieve an identity ‘catharsis.’
The exhibition of Stefanie’s Berlin work will take place from 7 to 11 November 2017 at SomoS Art House.
