The scene is ravished with fairy tale characters, a cultural phenomena of a performance invasion. Each scene is depicted with delicate environmental adaptations, staged as a set in their natural environment. PERFORMA-Escapism, the delicate touch to their Ambivalent, yet tangible nature.

From Europe to America & Eurasia, characters are forced to imply their orientation. The message is quite evident: Tolerance.

From Moscow to Berlin, comes the story of Female Ambivalence in a Fairy Tale version, created to fertilize Performance Art all over the world.

The ‘NONCONFORMIST’ Photography Series. “DIVALAND” ® 2014 is a story of Female Ambivalence. The scene is ravished with modern day nymphetes. A cultural phenomena of a performance invasion evolves into a photo-depiction of delicate real life characters, staged in their natural environmental adaptations. The “DIVA Diary” – a midsummer escape into altruistic adaptations in a modern society, with a delicate touch to their Ambivalent, yet tangible nature.

About Daria Marchik

Daria Marchik is a Visual Artist, Photographer, art director and creator of ambiguous art forms with a focus on eccentric nonconformity. Having evolved in New York for the most part, her look on culture and it’s inhabitants tends to shift the dualistic view of societies’ standards. Inspired by Berlin’s Grotesque Burlesque, GLAM DAM extracts colour & form, glorifying Role Play, Female Ambivalence, Escapism & Retro-Romanticism.

Daria has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions in Russia, USA, Ukraine, Germany, UK. She likes to experiment in different genres of art: photography, video art, installation, performance.

She currently works in Berlin & Moscow in Performance, Fashion, Art & Photography fields.
