You can freely browse the web site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Certain features and services on the web site require that you supply some information that allows us to identify you. We collect some information automatically from your computer while you browse our sites, such as where you go on our site: like on any other web site, our server collects your IP address, computer and connection information, browser type and version, operating system and platform, the URLs you come from and go to next. This information is not personally identifiable, and is only used to determine how people use our web site and its services.

We do not intend that children will use our sites. We do not solicit or knowingly collect information from children under 16 years old, nor will we accept submissions or orders from them. Anyone under 16 wishing to subscribe to SomoS newsletter needs proven consent of a parent or guardian.

As far as personal data (for example, name, address, or email addresses) is collected, this always takes place on a voluntary basis.



This website uses the analysis plugin WP Statistics, from the provider It generates simple statistics from the data in anonymous form. For this purpose, no user profiles are created and no cookies are set. IP addresses are stored as a hash. All data collected by WP Statistics will be completely anonymized and only stored locally on our web server, not shared or processed by third parties. A personal identification of a visitor is thus, even subsequently, impossible.


A newsletter is maintained by SomoS to which persons interested in its activities can subscribe. SomoS collects the name and email of subscribers. The newsletter is only used to provide with information about the exhibitions and activities of SomoS art space. The mailing list data is never shared with any third parties. SomoS uses the newsletter provider Mailjet, based in France. Mailjet offers “the highest level of data privacy and security available in the email industry, having attained the ISO 27001 certification certification (the international standard for best practices of information security processes), and implemented GDPR’s rigid requirements.” Undergoing ISO 27001 certification requires companies to not only implement company-wide processes pertaining to security policies, data handling and access, but also infrastructure changes.

To subscribe to the SomoS newsletter, sign-up forms are used, both from Mailjet (France), and, only on the SomoS Facebook page, from Wufoo, a subsidiary of SurveyMonkey (US). SurveyMonkey is certified under and complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Program and its principles as set forth by the US Department of Commerce and the European Commission regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from EU member states.
